BIOGRAPHIE
Née en 1969 en région parisienne, Isabelle Pelletane vit et travaille en Poitou-Charentes (France). Artiste peintre, l’art s’est imposé très tôt dans la vie d’Isabelle. Après des études en psychologie, elle part vivre à l’étranger et sera largement influencée par les couleurs et les paysages croisés sur sa route. A son retour en France, elle initie une recherche artistique sur la place de l'homme dans l'univers, dans son environnement naturel.
Variant son propos au gré des toiles, elle nous en offre une vision plutôt optimiste et colorée, une ode à la vie, à l'amour. Elle s’investit pleinement dans le processus de création et travaille les matières, avec une gestuelle spontanée, dynamique et instinctive. Un travail en évolution permanente, dans le courant de l'expressionnisme abstrait et de la scène contemporaine.
Isabelle Pelletane a multiplié les expositions en France, mais aussi à l’international. Ses oeuvres comptent également parmi de nombreuses collections privées en France et à l’étranger.
BIOGRAPHY
Born in 1969 in the Paris region, Isabelle Pelletane lives and works in Poitou-Charentes (France). As a painter, art became an integral part of Isabelle's life at a very early age. After studying psychology, she went to live abroad, when she was greatly influenced by the colors and landscapes she encountered along the way. On her return to France, she initiated an artistic research to explore man's place in the universe in his natural environment.
Varying her subject according to the paintings, she offers us a rather vision optimistic and colorful vision, an ode to life and love. She invests herself fully in the creative process, working with materials and gesture that are spontaneous, dynamic and instinctive. Her work is constantly evolving, in line with abstract expressionism and the urban contemporary scene.
Isabelle Pelletane has multiplied exhibitions in France, but also internationally. Her works are also part of numerous private collections in France and abroad.
DEMARCHE
Le travail d'Isabelle Pelletane s'inscrit dans une démarche intuitive, une exploration de la nature humaine, de sa propre conscience, à travers ses introspections et observations du monde qui l'entoure. De son parcours universitaire en Psychologie, elle a gardé le goût du travail sur soi. Isabelle axe son travail sur la force des énergies vitales, ce qui nous animent, le "bouillonnement de la vie". La nature, la terre, les éléments, les énergies, sont autant de sources d'inspirations. Elle laisse des traces sur la toile, comme autant d'empreintes de notre passage sur terre.
Elle prépare ses séances de travail par l’installation d’un état méditatif, puisant dans son intériorité. Puis s'investit pleinement dans le processus de création et travaille les matières, avec une gestuelle spontanée et dynamique, l' "action painting". Telle une danse créatrice, le corps entier est investi, les mouvements du pinceau deviennent plus vifs. Ils entraînent la peinture dans une danse où énergies et couleurs jaillissent sur la toile, laissant apparaître des traces, des tâches parsemées d'éclaboussures, de coulures, dans des couleurs chaudes et lumineuses, créant ainsi de nouvelles matières intenses de vie. Tout est question d'équilibre et d'harmonie.
Dans ses créations, Isabelle partage, une certaine vision du monde. Elle nous confie juste, ses perceptions.
STATMENT
Isabelle Pelletane's work is based on an intuitive approach, an exploration of human nature and her own consciousness, through introspection and observation of the world around her. From her university studies in Psychology, she has retained a taste for working on oneself. Isabelle's work focuses on the power of vital energies, what drives us, the “bubbling of life”. Nature, the earth, the elements and energies are all sources of inspiration. She leaves traces on canvas, like imprints of our passage on earth.
She prepares her work sessions by settling into a meditative state, drawing on her inner self. She then invests herself fully in the creative process, working on the materials with a spontaneous, dynamic gesture known as “action painting”. Like a creative dance, the whole body is involved, and brush movements become more lively. They lead the paint into a dance where energy and color burst onto the canvas, revealing traces, splashes and drips in warm, luminous colors, creating intense new materials. It's all about balance and harmony.
In her creations, Isabelle shares a certain vision of the world. She just confides in us, her perceptions.
